Sound Healing

 

All sound healing sessions are currently virtual via Zoom. I offer 1:1 and group sound healing sessions. To inquire and book a session, fill out an interest from and we will go from there. :)

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath can feel like you are being ‘bathed’ in sound. Sounds during a session can vary based on the instruments that are used, the combination of frequencies when using them, and how you respond to them.

What can the benefits be?

Sound baths can feel meditative, peaceful, relaxing, and calming. They are a great way to go to a meditative state. The impact of a sound bath will vary for everyone because everyone is impacted by sound in different ways.

Sound healing is the vibrational frequency of sound that can have healing impacts on us.

There has been and continues to be, scientific research on the benefits of sound healing. I am not formally trained medically nor do I make any claims/give medical advice, but I do encourage doing some research if you’d like to learn more!

What might I experience during/after a session?

Everyone experiences/reacts to sound differently. There is no proper/one way to experience a sound bath and sound healing. Some things you might experience: vivid visions/dreams, warm/cold bodily sensations, having a variety of emotions come up, hearing things in your head like messages/voices, feeling sleepy/tired or even falling asleep, and going into a meditative state.

Not all of these or maybe even any might happen for you, just some things that have come up or commonly do for people experiencing sound. Also, this is not an exhaustive list, please feel free to reach out if you have more questions. :)
