How my journey began

My name is Charisma (she/her). I converse in the Akasha as an Akashic Records reader and have deep appreciation for the virtues of sound for transcendence. For me, the Akashic Records are soul-speak and the vibrations and sounds we create/receive in life are meditative.

Influenced by my Nepali heritage, ancestors both past, present, and future, and a desire to understand my traumas, I have sought out healing practices from a young age. From the time I could read, I would find books around the house on spiritual growth, enlightenment, prayers, meditation, and the like. Reading through those books was the start of my self-discovery/exploration.

Following my curiosity grew into understanding myself from within and a fascination with the universe. Some of my most cherished childhood and present memories are of my dad tapping his fingers, whistling, playing Nepali instruments, my mom dancing and singing to Nepali music. Connecting, interacting, and creating through sound is meditative.

I am in love with learning about my ancestors, our family culture, and Nepal. Exploring healing modalities brought me to receive Akashic Records readings. I love the Akashic Records because they have brought me more self-understanding/reflection, present, and past life exploration, and allow me to acknowledge what exists within. This led me to want to share this healing modality and get trained as an Akashic Records reader.

Following the theme of vibrational energy and my ancestral inclinations to create with sound, I received training to become a sound healer. When facilitating sound baths, I use a variety of instruments originating predominantly from Nepal. I am grateful to share the powerful vibrations to create sounds with you all.

I am reclaiming my culture, heritage, and healing practices. When I do this work, it is shaped/informed/I honor/it is centered with the Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQIA+ communities and all the work they have done and continue to do in the reclamation of healing practices and in the wellness community.

The Akashic Records are a modality for people to move towards and honor their true self and a reminder of what’s already within us. Let’s go into the endless love and compassion of the Akashic Records vibrational energy and come closer to ourselves. Following the power that is vibrational energy, sound baths allow us to experience sound in a way that is unique to us. Grateful to share these sounds/vibrational energy with you and for you to experience what comes up for you when listening!

When I’m not doing readings and facilitating sound baths, I love to travel the world, be in nature, and feel happiest when surrounded by my family and friends who are my greatest support.
